Hi! We're Brittney & David

We're a creative duo passionate about bringing the joy of coloring to everyone. Our journey began unexpectedly—in the back of our SUV while doing Uber Eats as a side hustle. Brittney’s love for coloring sparked the idea, and together, we turned that passion into something tangible. What started as selling items on Facebook Marketplace and refurbishing furniture gradually led to the birth of B&D Coloring Books on May 22, 2024.

 

At first, we sold both paperback and hardcover coloring books through Amazon, but we later transitioned to offering paperbacks on Amazon and hardcovers through Lulu. As we grew, we built out our marketing with engaging video content, including:

• ZIZOs (Zoom-In, Zoom-Out Videos) – dynamic, fast-paced previews

• Dog Trailer Videos – featuring our three lovable pups

• Flip-Through Videos – showcasing printed books with colored pages by Brittney

• Slam Videos – satisfying drops of books and coloring pages onto a desk

• Children's Book Videos

• Journal Videos

• More to come!

Each video helped capture the magic behind our creations, making our books more engaging for both kids and adults.

By the end of 2024, we decided to expand beyond coloring books, adding children’s books, journals, and more while also unifying our other side hustles—selling purses, small merchandise, and furniture via eBay and Facebook Marketplace.

​

• eBay is for select items available for nationwide delivery.

• Facebook Marketplace is for local pickup and meet-ups, primarily in Menifee, CA, with select items available as far as Orange County.

 

With this expansion, B&D Coloring Books became just one part of a larger vision. To reflect our growing business, we rebranded to B&D Enterprises, encompassing multiple sub-brands, including B&D Coloring Books.
